Coach Amanda Livsey
Coach Amanda joined the Rage organization in the winter of 2015 after coaching for the Hudson Valley Heartbreakers the previous three years at the 12U and 14U level. She is a Rockland native, graduating from Clarkstown North High School in 2006 after starting all four years as the varsity catcher and third basemen. She was a two-time captain leading her team to a Section 1-AA championship in 2006.
After high school she went to Montclair State University in NJ where she played four years for the Red Hawks while obtaining her bachelor's degree in athletic training. As a Red Hawk, she started all four years as a first baseman and catcher. She helped lead her team to an 18-0 Conference record and NJAC Conference Championship in 2007 as well as two ECAC appearances in 2008 and 2009. Her claim to fame is hitting her first career home run at her first home at bat against DeSales University on March 25, 2007.
Amanda stopped coaching for the Heartbreakers after the summer 2014 season to focus on work and post-grad classes, but her love for coaching and her love for the game has landed her a position with Rage 14U Red this upcoming season. She has great passion and knowledge of the game.
